Dr. Sasha Savic
CEO and Principal Consultant
Sasha has professional experience in the power industry spanning twenty years, primarily in gas-fired power generation. He holds a Master’s in mechanical engineering and PhD in experimental combustion. Sasha joined Alstom in 2000 and led several important development programmes in the gas turbine R&D division, and also held roles in gas turbine service and product management. He has an MBA from the HWZ Zurich.
Chief Operating Officer
After receiving her degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vanessa worked for a power and water utility in Phoenix, Arizona; working in roles ranging from maintenance and systems operations to real time trading. She earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and then joined Alstom in 2007. Vanessa held roles in gas turbine product management, market intelligence, and product marketing for Alstom and for General Electric until joining SS&A in 2017.
Mauro Di Giorgio
Vice President, Indonesia and Southeast Asia
Mauro has more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector. After his apprenticeship as a Service Technician he worked all over the world in gas turbine commissioning and erection as well as service. He has lived and worked in Indonesia for over 15 years, holding a variety of technical and commercial roles, including Technical Service Engineering Manager. He leads his own company, Mega Turbin Indonesia, and at the same time serves as SS&A Power Consultancy Sales VP.
Principal Consultant and Sales Director Japan/Korea
Eiji most recently led the power service organization for a major gas turbine OEM, where he oversaw a global fleet of several hundred engines as Senior Chief Engineer. His customer-oriented mindset combined with his 36 years of gas turbine experience have made him one of the industry’s leading experts in gas turbine service. Prior to working in service, Eiji Akita headed developing and designing new high-temperature gas turbines up to 1,500 ℃ class with credit on more than 20 patents.
VP HR and Leadership & Organizational Development Consulting
Rick is the founder and lead consultant of Qubernatio GmbH, a leadership and organisational development consultancy based out of Zürich. Rick graduated from the Hanken School of Business and Economics in Helsinki, and holds an MBA in Leadership and Business Administration. He has pursued an international career in various HR- and leadership positions in several, both US and European based, large multinational organisations. In 2011 Rick left the role of Sr VP of HR for the Danfoss Group to found Qubernatio and be able to fully focus on his passion – people leadership and organisational development.
Managing Director, Balkans
Darko graduated from Belgrade University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in engineering and project preparation for GTCC and coal fired power plants. He has supported and managed major maintenance and construction project activities across Europe, and he has been leading SS&A’s activities in the Balkans since 2016.
Fabrizio de Candia
Principal Consultant and Project Director Energy Storage
Fabrizio has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, including development, investment, operations, and engineering and construction in Europe, North America and India. He was a founding member of IPP InterGen and his senior management experience includes roles such as General Manager Gas Power Plants at Alstom in Italy and North America, and Group Vice President at Circor International. He currently serves on the Investment Advisory Committee for NTR, Plc, a leading renewable energy company. He holds a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and has attended the INSEAD Advance Management program at INSEAD Fontainebleau and Singapore.

Paul has over 30 years of experience in the gas-fired combined cycle power generation business, having held a wide variety of technical and commercial roles for ABB, Alstom, and GE. He has extensive experience in sales / business development, project development, permitting, and applications engineering. Paul is based in Richmond, Virginia, USA.
Dr. Vladimir Vassiliev
Vladimir’s expertise in gas turbine technology stretches over 25 years in the power generation gas turbine industry, in addition to development and engineering roles in the jet engine industry. He has advanced degrees in aerodynamics and thermodynamics and a PhD in fluid mechanics. He is also expert in heat transfer and cooling, and gas turbine integration. He holds ten patents and is an author for numerous publications for academic journals and international conferences.
Sales Director Southeast Asia
Michael has over 25 years of career involvement in the power industry in combined cycle plant operations in Malaysia, and since then has progressed through engineering, sales, and management positions in Malaysia and in Europe, most recently in Business Development and Sales for Long Term Service Agreements including O&M Contracts in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to that he also worked in power plant performance monitoring, developing improvements in diagnostics followed by Integrated Power Plant Lifecycle Management to give Owners a greater insight of their assets. He is also an active Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and held various leadership positions.
CIO and Managing Director G2P Adriatic
Predrag graduated from Montenegro University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering – Applied Computing Engineering. More than 22 years of experience in: analysis and design of information systems, implementing, monitoring the project through realization and maintenance. Programming and administration of databases and business applications. He is a member of court experts of Judicial council of Montenegro. He has supported and managed large projects of information systems in Montenegro and he has been leading G2P Adriatic’s activities in the Montenegro since 2018.
Dr. Carlos Haertel
Country Leader E2S Power Germany
Being an aerospace engineer by training, Carlos has spent some 18 years in a variety of leadership and senior executive positions in global energy and infrastructure companies. His most recent roles were President & CEO for GE Germany and Chief Technology Officer for GE Europe. After his industry career, Carlos started his own advisory business working with corporate boards, private-equity investors, public research organizations, and early-stage companies. At E2S Power, he is heading the German organization and leads business development and sales in the region. Carlos also acts as SS&A Power Consultancy’s local representative in the country.
